Summary: A healthcare provider advocates for the approval of ANKTIVA for expanded use and "right to try" status. They argue that providing more treatment options improves patient outcomes, provides hope for families, and offers medical professionals more tools to help their patients.
In my experience, patients and their families rely on the medical professionals and industry leaders to provide every possible, reasonable option to improve the quality of life and to alleviate suffering if at all possible .
ANKTIVA represents hope for them and their families and they should be at least able to try this option.
Please make it an option for them. I suffer with every lost opportunity to help my patients, so another treatment option for them also includes a morale boost for providers as well. We are then not powerless to help them if given additional tools/treatments to work into a treatment protocol.
Hope IS a treatment for their families as well as staff, and better patient outcomes resulting in monetary savings, benefits us all! Please approve ANKTIVA for expanded use and “right to try” status.
