Summary: A holistic health practitioner supports the inclusion of seven specific compounds (BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-C, DSIP, Semax, and Epitalon) on the Section 503A Bulk Drug Substances List. They argue that providing a legal 503A pathway ensures safety, quality control, and professional oversight for patients seeking these substances.
To the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee: I support adding BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, and MOTS-C, as well as DSIP, Semax, and Epitalon, to the Section 503A Bulk Drug Substances List. As a holistic health practitioner, I’ve seen these compounds used safely and effectively for tissue repair, sleep, and metabolic support under practitioner oversight. Without a legal 503A pathway, patient demand simply shifts to unregulated, untested sources which is the opposite of a safety win. A 503A pathway keeps prescribing, quality control, and pharmacist oversight in the picture. I urge the Committee to recommend inclusion of all seven substances.
