Summary: A patient expresses strong opposition to the proposed action, stating that removing certain substances from the list of compoundable medicines would cause them severe physical harm. They specifically cite curcumin as a substance they rely on for health benefits and argue that its removal would lead to life-threatening complications.
I have read your list of 503A Bulk Compounding Substances. I have personally derived great health benefits from many of the named substances now under review to be removed/excluded as compoundable medicines. As a patient, this loss would expose myself, and by extension my family, to great harm and incalculable pain. Curcumin is one example among many whose abrupt inaccessibility would consign us to a slow, agonizing lethal complication and inevitable departure. I cannot overstate the pervasive emphatic nature regarding the life and death ruling now pending in your court.
