Comment on FR Doc # 2026-12561

U.S. Women's Chamber of CommerceSupportBusiness
Summary: The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce, representing women-owned small businesses, requests an extension of the comment period for the proposed FAR overhaul rules. They argue that the current 30-day window is insufficient for small businesses to analyze the complex regulations and that an extension is necessary to ensure meaningful public participation and a high-quality record.
Request for extension of the comment period — FAR Case 2026-001. The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce respectfully requests that the comment period for the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul proposed rules (FAR Cases 2026-001, 2026-002, 2026-005, and 2026-007) be extended to no fewer than 90 days from publication — and in no event fewer than 60 days — or, in the alternative, that comments be due no earlier than 60 days after publication of the proposed rule for FAR Part 19, whichever is later. The full request and grounds are set out in the attached letter. USWCC intends to submit substantive comments.
