Summary: An individual commenter supports the inclusion of EpiPens on flights to address life-threatening anaphylactic incidents. They argue that the devices are inexpensive, easy to use, and do not require specific medical training.
Hopefully the FAA is seriously investigating the tragic and avoidable incidents regarding anaphylaxis on flights. If so, it only makes sense to provide EpiPen on flights. They are inexpensive and simple to use and most importantly- they save lives! The administration of such devices is safe and effective and requires no specific medical training. I’m actually shocked that they are not already available on flights because they are so easy to acquire and use.
Seems like a no brainer!
