Summary: A parent of four children with life-threatening allergies supports the proposed policy to allow epinephrine auto-injectors (EpiPens) on airplanes. They argue that having these life-saving devices on board is a matter of life and death and urge airlines to allow them and train staff on their use.
As someone who carries an epi pen and has 4 children that need to carry epi-pens, this would be amazing. I have raised my children to always carry epi, but I know there is probably going to be a time when they don't have it. Things happen. They all 4 have life threatening allergies. Having epi on board the airplane could save their life. This could save so many lives and should be a no-brainer. Allergies are a prevalent part of society and having this life saving device on board could be the matter of life and death to someone. Please put it on airlines! Teach your airline staff to use these! Thank you!
