Summary: FedEx is commenting on a proposed Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 757 airplanes. The company specifies the number of aircraft affected and identifies the specific groups they will use to satisfy the requirements, while also endorsing comments made by Airlines for America.
In response to NPRM Docket Number FAA-2026-3876 (Ref /A/) FedEx offers the following comments:
1.The proposed Airworthiness Directive (AD) will be effective for one hundred eighteen (118) FedEx 757 airplanes.
2.Due to the affected areas of inspection of our 757 aircraft that have been converted by VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering STC ST03562AT, we will use Groups 1 and 2 to satisfy the AD requirements.
a.Group 1 has 109 total aircraft.
b.Group 2 has nine total aircraft.
3.FedEx has reviewed the Ref /B/ Requirements Bulletin and agrees with the comments submitted on our behalf by Airlines for America (A4A).
