Summary: An individual commenter opposes the proposed exemption, arguing that the request to bypass aircraft certification requirements and weight limits undermines FAA safety regulations. They contend that the company should adhere to existing guidelines to ensure public safety rather than seeking special treatment.
The aeronautical regulations set by the FAA are there for a reason and are meant to be upheld, just because a company has the money or power to do so does not mean that they can just ignore these regulations and submit such an outrageous request. Attempting to bypass other aricraft certification requirements and the 165 lbs. takeoff weight is absurd and sets a standard for other aircraft companies to follow. I find this request to be an obvious no and for the company to reconsider whatever aircraft they are trying to make. If the company does not want to adhere to the FAA guidelines then they do not need to be making aircrafts in the first place, those guidelines are not there to stop people from making aircraft, it is so keep the people safe and ensure public safety in general.
