Summary: The commenter, a private resident, opposes the approval of commercial and retail drone delivery services. They argue that drones will create noise pollution, safety risks, and privacy concerns without reducing existing ground traffic.
I am opposed to allowing any commercial/retail drone delivery services. I fail to understand how allowing this will provide a benefit to our society. I live in a suburban area and having drones of any type flying over my house opens a whole host of problems -- noise, potential for accidents, inability to distinguish between a "delivery drone" and someone flying a drone over houses for nefarious purposes. Multiply this by a multitude of companies getting into the act and the space over our houses becomes a freeway. We already have numerous driving delivery services every day in the neighborhood. Drone delivery will not decrease any of that traffic. It will only add to it being overhead.
