I live within one of the countless cities whose drinking water your military poisoned, and whose damage you denied responsibility for (with the help of multiple administrations) while we are left to remediate what little we can with millions and counting of our own tax dollars. I’ve seen firsthand the way it’s affected people and the environment. We still have PFAs in our water. We still have PFAs in our bodies as well as the lifelong health consequences created by them. We are still burdened with the fears of how this will continue to affect our health and that of our children. So what will rescinding regulations achieve aside from inflicting harm upon those are not amongst the elite? Your administration boasts MAHA, yet there’s never any money for our health and plenty to bomb children in countries halfway around the planet. Never any money for prosperity, but plenty to “swiftly punish”. The limits should not only be kept in place, but further expanded upon. Immensely. By you, the governmental agency in charge of such matters. And if you like slashing and sabotaging water, you can keep it within the boundaries of your reflecting pool. At no point did we ask for any such cruel and unusual punishment as this.
