In terms of labelling, I believe it is necessary for the company producing the pesticide to renew their research on a certain timely basis to maintain the guarantees of their label. By stating a product kills "99% of viruses" this should be backed up with specific scientific evidence. If after a year this does not hold true, the company should be mandated to change their claim.
