I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed changes to the Environmental Protection Agency rule entitled “Hazardous and Solid Waste Management System: Disposal of Coal Combustion Residuals From Electric Utilities; Legacy/CCRMU Amendments” (Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OLEM-2020-0107).
Almost all coal ash sites have been shown by the industry’s own data to be contaminating nearby groundwater at levels that the federal government deems to be unsafe. The citizens of the United States of America do not need the carcinogens and hazardous chemicals that coal ash contains!!
