Summary: The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) opposes the EPA's proposal to delay the phase-in schedule for Tier 4 criteria pollutant standards for light-duty and medium-duty vehicles. They argue that the delay violates the Clean Air Act's mandate to achieve the greatest degree of emission reduction and will harm public health, national park visibility, and surrounding ecosystems.
On behalf of the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), we submit the following comments opposing the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposed Revision of Tier 4 Criteria Pollutant Standards, Part 1: Amendments to Phase-In Schedule for Light-Duty and Medium-Duty Vehicles
