Summary: The commenter, a private individual, shares a positive personal experience with RRM's comprehensive fertility care, which they credit with helping them achieve a healthy pregnancy. They advocate for RRM's services to be accessible to all Americans, particularly minorities, and emphasize the importance of personalized, holistic care over standard IVF treatments.
RRM comprehensive approach diagnosed me with hormonal deficiency specially (progesterone post ovulation which IVF clinics does not monitor or test the functionality or quality of the hormone to sustain successful pregnancy. RRM also found that my prolactin level were significantly higher than normal which was mimicking lactation mother or pre-menopausal woman and thus successful pregnancy was impossible. RRM educator worked closely with me to monitor my biomarkers such as my cervical fluid among others. This process empowered me because it definitely worked when it came time to try for pregnancy after six months of monitoring my cycles. Cycle monitoring is a service OBGYN do not provide and prefer you to use outdated ovulation prediction kits that state pre ovulation happens within 48 hours. This 48 hour window OBGYN sell to patients is not accurate because the ovulation window is open for an entire week and three days post ovulation. Biology doesn’t have a problem. Is humans making inaccurate assumptions that creates problems for mankind. The lack of education in the fertility community is appalling so I applaud RRM for their great work. RRM patient care is collaborative with the patient. The practitioners care about patient wellness including the importance of nutrition and fertility rich foods that promote healthy mom and baby. The team met with me weekly to discuss my nutritional needs and I was journaling what I ate and how to increase some foods in my diet. I didn’t feel the practitioners imposition on my treatment or didn’t care about my needs. I felt comfortable sharing my decisions for my plan of care. My first and only failed IVF cycle the fertility clinic didn’t care about my needs and imposed their ideas and plan of care. That is why finding RRM was life changing. I did not only receive excellent care but I achieved a healthy baby. As an African American woman having access to care is not widely accessible so finding RRM did not only change my circumstances but made it possible for other women like me in my community and other minorities that are fighting to get this level of care but don’t have to resources, funding, level of education and the right medical professionals or told IVF is the answer, but doesn’t address the root cause of fertility issues and IVF isn’t guaranteed. This is to ensure that RRM can provide their care for all Americans and also globally.
