I am patient who successfully conceived naturally and carried a healthy pregnancy to term under the care of Restorative Reproductive Medicine clinicians after two consecutive miscarriages in my twenties. I also conceived a second baby and am currently 25 weeks pregnant under the care of Restorative Reproductive Medicine clinicians. My care team educated me on how to accurately chart the biomarkers of my ovulatory cycle, did several diagnostic tests to better understand possible causes of my miscarriages, and recommended treatment that was very carefully timed with my cycle and specific biomarkers to help me maintain a healthy pregnancy. The medical care has shown to be very personalized to my body's condition, needs, and unique rhythm of my cycle. Once I conceived under the care of Restorative Reproductive clinicians, I was closely monitored and treated to best support and maintain the pregnancy. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to correct underlying factors affecting my fertility and conceive naturally in order to grow my family. Given my experience, I think it is vitally important that Restorative Reproductive Medicine be included in the proposed rule. I hope other families can receive treatment for underlying conditions with Restorative Reproductive Medicine in order to conceive without unnecessary medical intervention that often comes with IVF procedures.
