Summary: A practitioner from FertilityCare argues that the proposed coverage should include restorative reproductive medicine and NaPro Technology in addition to IVF. They contend that excluding these services would be a detriment to patients seeking to identify and treat the root causes of infertility.
Please ensure that this coverage also includes restorative reproductive medicine and not solely IVF. As a FertilityCare practitioner, I have seen firsthand time and time again how when patients work with OBGYNs trained in NaPro Technology and restorative reproductive medicine they are able to discover the root cause of their infertility and appropriate treatments are able to be given. When the root cause is identified, their “unexplained infertility” is no longer a mystery, appropriate treatments to their care are given (medications, procedures, surgery etc,), and their fertility and health are restored.
To only include coverage and benefits for IVF and exclude NaPro Technology and restorative reproductive medicine services would be an incredible detriment to anyone experiencing infertility and is looking for answers and healing for their fertility and overall health and wellbeing.
