Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed action, arguing that investment managers should not be granted immunity for mishandling 401(k) funds. They advocate for the ability of everyday Americans to sue for mismanagement of their retirement investments.
I do not want immunity for those that choose to poorly invest, hard-working people’s 401(k)s. They have to hold the laws just like the millions of people that outnumber them. If they mishandle somebody’s funds, then those that worked for the initial monies put into the fund should be able to sue for such mishandling(s). Anyone can make a bad choice like investing in crypto, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of hard-working everyday Americans up against a group that thinks they’re elite.
