Summary: An individual consumer argues that the proposed compensation for involuntary downgrades is unfair and allows the airline to profit at the customer's expense. They compare the practice to theft and suggest it gives the company an unfair advantage in pricing.
This is unfair to the consumer. This enables the company to profit and actually encourages the airline to take advantage of the pricing difference in the company's favor leaving the consumer in a negative position. Where is that you can purchase a product and the company can take your money and not provide the product or service. If I did this in my construction business, I would be charged with theft.
