Dear U.S. Department of State,
As a US citizen and a US Passport holder, I oppose the change to only having 32 page document, since this would actually require more paperwork for American nationals and require more frequent passport renewals for frequent travelers. For Americans who live overseas who need to request a refill for their frequent travels, this would more renewals and cost more for citizens living overseas. The more frequent passport renewals that are eliminated from 52-page passports can increase the wait time for passports. There are cases of border officials stamping empty pages, and this can fill out a passport more rapidly.
Even though I agree there should more efficacy in passport processing, completely eliminating the 52-page US Passport as an option would increase more inefficacies for both the government and US nationals.
