Subject: Please Oppose the Proposed CMS Modifier 25 Policy
Dear Senator Heinrich,
I am an Epiphany Dermatology teammate and one of your constituents.
I work as a Medical Receptionist in our clinic in a rural part of New Mexico, we treat patients from the Four Corners.
Every day, I see the dedication our physicians, APPs, and clinical teams bring to caring for patients. Comprehensive evaluations and medically necessary procedures often occur during the same visit, allowing patients to receive timely care while avoiding unnecessary delays and additional appointments.
I respectfully ask you to oppose CMS's proposed Modifier 25 policy and support policies that recognize the value of the separate and identifiable professional services our clinicians provide every day.
Thank you for your time and your service.
Sincerely,
Angie Jones
