Comment on CMS-2026-2377-0002
Jennifer Partyka MSN RNOpposeIndividual
Summary: A registered nurse expresses strong opposition to the proposed CMS changes, arguing that the administration lacks understanding of healthcare complexities. The commenter specifically criticizes plans regarding AI-administered care, Medicaid requirements for disabled patients, and prescription benefits for seniors.
I am a 31 year registered nurse, Masters Prepared, Board Certified.
As I look above at the list of proposed changes to CMS and I understand what each of these changes mean to my patients and colleagues, I wonder who is advising your authors. Certainly not a fellow professional who understands how ANYTHING in healthcare works.
Every idea coming out of this administration is a bad one.
There should be no plan to bill for AI administered care before there is one for nurses.
You should not be making certifiably disabled patients work for their Medicaid.
You should not be taking away prescription medication benefits for seniors.
You should not be cutting programs that keep Americans safe.
Your teams are breaking EVERYTHING in your path and my recommendation is to immediately find new leadership who understands the complexities of healthcare administration.
