Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed bill, expressing concern that individuals eligible for exemptions may still be incorrectly penalized or removed from Medicaid. They cite past experiences in other states as evidence that the current system is prone to errors and should not be enacted in its current form.
I have a great concern as I and many others who would fall under the eligible categories for exemption could potentially be still required to adhere to the work requirements. As past evidence has been proven from Arkansas and Georgia and other states who participated in mandatory work requirements in 2018, there were many people who were mistakenly kicked off of Medicade that should not have been. This is a huge concern and all systems need to be evaluated, this bill should not go into law the way it is intended.
