Summary: The EHR Association, a trade association representing health IT companies, supports the majority of the proposed FY 2027 IPPS rule, including the adoption of new eCQMs and electronic prior authorization requirements. They advocate for realistic implementation timelines, the use of mature standards, and caution against tying emerging digital quality measures (dQMs) to pay-for-performance programs before they are fully tested and adopted by the industry.
