Summary: The American Dental Association (ADA) supports the proposed rule's goals of streamlining prior authorization and improving interoperability to reduce administrative burdens. However, they urge CMS to adopt a phased implementation approach that includes dental-specific testing, pilot programs, and technical support to ensure the new standards do not inadvertently burden small practices or delay patient care.
