Why are you allowing Kalshi and other sites to pretend that events that have been recorded as future events?
They are allowing people to make guaranteed bets on events that have already happened, such as has occurred on the television show Survivor. Anyone who was aware this was happening would classify it as cheating. This is not a future event, it's one that has already occured and that anyone with insider knowledge, or who has access to insider information about the actual outcome, to make a guaranteed bet. Hello, corruption in the form of insider trading.
Kalshi can claim that they've performed an investigation, but if so there's a big hole in their investigation. They very effectively ruined the outcome of this pre-recorded television program.
How can anyone claim that this is fair or appropriate?
