I care about public land and oppose the proposed grazing regulation changes that will limit my access and enjoyment of public lands and will only benefit wealthy individuals and large corporations at the expense of proper grazing management on BLM lands we share.
These changes will hurt smaller ranchers and the public’s right to recreate on BLM lands, as well as other uses of our lands like clean air and water and wildlife protection.
I am especially concerned that the rule would completely cut out the public from any decision making related to our public lands. The public should have been involved from the beginning of this rulemaking process, just as it was in prior administrations. Instead, this proposed rule was developed without our input or participation. BLM needs to go back to the drawing board and consider all taxpayers not just a wealthy few.
