I am in favor of changing these rules. I am almost 50 years old and my mother had a court order me into a mental hospital when I was 14 which has denied my right to firearms. I am currently a first responder entrusted with the life and property of other people after having passed a psychological exam, yet my right to firearms has been denied for over 20 years.
