Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed revisions, arguing that they could endanger the public by making it easier for mentally unstable individuals to obtain firearms. They advocate for stricter controls to prevent "crazed" individuals from accessing weapons to carry out mass casualty events.
I don't understand why ATF would feel it necessary to endanger people's lives and potentially empower mentally unstable individuals to carry out mass casualty events. The uptick in shootings over the past decade have been undertaken predominantly by crazed and mental individuals, including those who have carried out shootings at elementary schools like the Sandy Hook school shooting. Stop this and focus on keeping crazed individuals from getting access to firearms. They don't care who they have to kill, so why make it easier for these people to get ahold of weapons?
