I strongly support this proposed rule, many firearms owners purchased stabilizing braces for their firearms based on prior ATF rules & opinion letters that were reneged by the 2023 brace rule. This placed millions of lawful firearm owners in the position to become felons simply for following rules that the ATF had previously set up. This current proposed rule would help to clarify the legality of pistol braces, as well as bring the current rules more in line with prior ATF rules & court orders on the subject of stabilizing braces.
