LJK FIREARMSOpposeBusiness
Summary: The commenter, a small business owner and Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL), opposes the proposed regulation because it would remove the requirement for FFLs to review sales for red flags. They argue that these requirements are essential to their business model and to ensuring that firearms are only sold to qualified individuals.
I am an FFL and small business owner and I oppose this proposed regulation! I would not survive if firearms sales and transfers were to be allowed without folks like myself reviewing Firearms sales and transfers for possible red flags in the sale or transfer. My business is supported by firearms sales and transfers to customers and it takes away from the reason FFLs exist, which is to ensure firearms are put in customer hands that meet all federal requirements to own and possess firearms!
