Under this rule, no one ever has to say yes to a gun sale. My small shop in Maryland relies on face-to-face visits to catch problems that a computer screen never will. By allowing standard guns to ship right to a buyer's door, this plan will kill off local dealers. Buyers will just go to big online sites instead. While NFA rules force the government to approve a transfer through prints and photos, this new process just waits for a clock to run out. It hurts our community shops while adding fees for every buyer. Please remove the parts of this rule that allow direct shipping of standard firearms.
