Comment on FR Doc # 2026-09157

Dominion Firearms LLCOpposeBusiness
Summary: The commenter, a small gun store owner in Miami, AZ, opposes the proposed revision because it would eliminate in-person sales and safety instructions. They argue that online direct-to-door purchases remove human judgment from the transaction and would threaten the survival of small businesses.
This is a bad idea. My wife and I own a small gun store in Miami, AZ. With the in-person sales we have stopped numerous straw buys. We also provide gun safety instruction to new firearms owners. This can not be done with an on-line direct to the door purchase. Human judgement plays a big factor in the sale of a firearm. Also, with the big box stores and online sales our small business is already struggling to stay open. This would put most small gun stores out of business.
