Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed revision to firearms transaction requirements, arguing that allowing mail-order purchases will increase gun deaths, particularly among children and women. They urge the agency to prioritize preventing gun violence rather than making firearms easier to obtain.
I OPPOSE this bill allowing gun buyers to skip the counter and purchase guns via mail. We do not need to make it easier to kill children in the United States. Guns are the number one cause of death of children in the USA. When guns are easier to purchase, more guns will fall into the hands of parents who are not sensible in storing guns properly. Women and children will be the ones who suffer from this bill. PLEASE work to prevent gun deaths and gun violence and not increase the number of gun deaths each year.
