I believe we should update the list of banned countries by allowing more countries to import firearms, parts, or ammunition. My reasons for this belief is because (1) free competition is the spirit of a free-market economy, (2) because many people in this country would like to use foreign made firearms and ammunition as a matter of personal preference, so banning them makes it prohibitively expensive. This not only is extremely un-American, but is a violation of the 2nd ammendment of the Constitution as it's an infringement. (3) Is because prior to the ban on importing Russian ammunition, 51 percent of ammunition or components came from Russia. The ban made all calibers of ammunition more expensive and caused shortages. This is also an infringement of the 2nd ammendment because by banning ammunition, it becomes difficult to use firearms.
