Summary: A firearms dealer since 1982 argues that the Youth Handgun Safety Act posters and handouts are rarely requested by customers and are often unreadable. The commenter supports removing the requirement to post these materials and provide handouts.
As a dealer since 1982, I can tell you that not once has a customer asked about the poster or requested the paper detailing the youth safety act. Not once. So often the poster is up in shops, meeting the legal requirements, but totally unreadable to the public. How much money been spent on printing the poster and handouts? And is there anything to show for these many millions of dollars? I support the change to eliminate the posting and handouts
