Thank you for proposing this much needed revision to the rules concerning interstate transportation of firearms. As one who regularly travels around the northeastern states - which have wildly different laws regarding firearms - this clarification is quite welcome. It would be even more valuable if it were also applicable to intra-state transportation, but I guess we'll have to work on that next.
