Summary: The commenter supports the proposed rule change, arguing that it provides common-sense protection for citizens who may accidentally enter states with restrictive gun laws while traveling. They believe the change will prevent legal issues for individuals with no ill intent.
This is an excellent change that allows free movement of citizens with their firearms between allowed states while traveling through restrictive states. This is a common sense change that should be enacted immediately. There's been numerous cases over the years were people transporting firearms have taken accidental wrong turns and ended up afoul of other states restrictive gun laws where there was no ill intent. This rule change prevents unfortunately situations like this.
