I am in favor of this Proposed Rule. Honestly, the entire "Sporting Purposes" aspect of the 1968 GCA needs to be updated to include target and competition shooting, as well as hunting, which is traditionally what "sporting purposes" has referred to. That said, the Proposed Rule is a step in the right direction of allowing the importation of firearms components that may have multiple purposes.
