As someone who lives in Kentucky and travels frequently to Georgia to visit family and meet up to hunt and sport shoot, this would be a very welcome change! Sometimes the notice to travel is shorter than the time it takes to get an approval and i have to leave certain firearms at home that i would normally take on the trip. This would remove a huge burden off of myself and the folks at the NFA.
