Summary: An individual opposes the proposed action, arguing that it makes it too easy to transport weapons across state lines. They advocate for states to maintain strict regulations on firearms to prevent gun violence and protect residents from out-of-state weapons.
We should not be making it easier for anyone to transport weapons across state lines for any reason, whether work or leisure. Regardless of our 2A rights, states should maintain regulation of ALL guns, and the federal government should respects states' rights to do so. Why would the government want to make it easier for someone to transport a weapon that may have been used in a crime or intended to be used in a crime in another state? This goes against all common sense. Some states want their residents to be free of gun violence. Where I live, someone crossed into our state with a weapon to commit a mass act of violence. We don't want your guns here.
