William ChenOpposeIndividual
Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed action, arguing that the definition of "sex" used in the proposal is outdated. They express concern that the proposal could lead to discrimination against transgender and intersex individuals by Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs).
It's very telling that you had to dig up a 1993 definition of the word "sex" in order to make this legislation proposal make sense.
Why didn't you use a 2026 definition? Or a 2023 definition? We both know why: it's because it's only be going back more than 3 decades can you make this legislation make sense in any way.
All Americans have the right to own a firearm. You know this and you also know that there are a lot of FFLs who don't like transgenders or intersex people (which contrary to your 1993 definition of the word "sex" , has since become a well documented phenomenon) and will then refuse to complete the transfer of the legally purchased firearm.
