Eliminating the requirement for applicants to notify their local Chief Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO) when making or transferring National Firearms Act (NFA) items like suppressors and short-barreled rifles (SBRs) makes it harder for law enforcement to keep themselves and our community safe.
Please do NOT remove CLEO notification.
