Comment on FR Doc # 2026-08915

This is a follow up comment. I further recommend the ATF make the rule retroactive so it applies to firearms for which Form 1's have been already approved (or pending) and the maker has not yet added the additional markings to the firearms. This will yield all of the benefits already stated in the proposed rule. A simple amendment to the Form 1 could be processed, if required.
