Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed "Engaged in the Business" rule, arguing that individuals should be allowed to sell legally owned property without being classified as retailers. They express a general desire for the ATF to be disbanded and for the government to refrain from creating such regulations.
I oppose ATF’s proposed “Engaged in the Business” rule (RIN 1140-AB01). Persons should be allowed to sell their legally owned property, without government interference. There should be no rule of this kind at all. Can I sell my clothes at a yard sale without being a retailer? Yes. Can I sell my car without being a car dealer? Yes. Can I sell my house without being a realtor? Yes Can I sell my soul to the devil without government interference? Yes. This is exactly why atf should be disbanned. They cannot write law in absence of one.
