Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed firearms electronic recordkeeping system, citing concerns over privacy violations and security risks. They argue that the government is inept at managing such data and believe the initiative is an unnecessary overreach into the lives of law-abiding citizens.
Most ridiculous idea I have ever heard. You want to violate every citizens privacy who is forced to use this system. The security risks alone make it dangerous, and the governments ineptitude and lack of taking responsibility when they mess up is reason enough all by itself to not go to digital records. Everyone who buys a firearm at a dealer has to go through the background checks so it's obvious we already know that the federal government probably has an illegal registry and just wants to make it all above board. Back off ATF and leave us law abiding citizens alone.
