Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed firearms electronic recordkeeping by arguing that it constitutes over-regulation and creates risks for privacy and security. They advocate for zero record retention for law-abiding citizens and businesses.
The Supreme Court has unambiguosly upheld our Second Amendment rights in several recent cases. The only acceptable records retention period for sovereign citizens and legitimate businesses who abide by laws and morals is ZERO retention of records. We should not be burdened, personally or financially, by over-regulation from unelected bureaucrats. There is too much risk that bad actors in government, foreign and domestic, can use government and private business records to hunt down the innocent. Criminals should be removed from society. Everyone else should be left alone.
