Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed action, arguing that requiring the disclosure of biological gender or gender identity is irrelevant to firearm ownership and use. They contend that such requirements serve no practical purpose for identification and infringe upon Second Amendment rights.
Biological gender or gender in general is irrelevant in the purchase of a firearm or the function and use of a firearm there is no reason to have to specify one's specific birth gender to use as an identifier especially in the case of transgender individuals simply because if a person presents and looks female how would a male marker help identify a purchaser in any way especially if all their documents were changed to match their gender this has no purpose except for two strip second amendment rights from American citizens
